A TREE

A seed that was planted thousand years ago gradually grew to become a tree. It sat like an avatar, an embodiment of the immutable, far beyond the pains of man. The tree has silently gazed hundred of generations marching past, and sadly peeked at civilizations rising to glory and turning to dust. The tree sometimes acts as a comfort to man, provides man the intimate link with the nature, or perhaps the Divine. Now, the tree grew old and big, has come to the end of its destiny. Lying by the floors of the forests its cells are disintegrating, but its spirit lives on.  It waits and waits for a chance to fulfill the yearning for a second life.

Who are we?

We, the woodworkers roam the world to find out our relationship with these trees, like a path of action, karma that leads us to the union with the Divine. We work with these noble trees, to fulfill their yearning for second lives, to release their richness and beauty.

Each part of each tree has its fulfilling destiny, the woodworkers fashioning them, applying skills to find its ideal usefulness to man and realize its full potential. The final result is plain, simple and beauty. Now, we have discovered the wonders in them and harmonized us with natures, reaching a peace state of mind.

一棵树：

几千年前，一粒种子渐渐成长为一棵大树。它雄伟的竖立着有如神灵的化身，象征着永恒，远离世俗。它凝视着人类历代的转变，又悲哀的窥视着人类文明的兴起和没落。这棵树对人类是一种心灵的安慰，人和自然的一种亲密接触，又或者是人和神的一种结合。现在，这棵苍天古树已到了它生命的尽头，躺卧在森林之中。它的细胞在慢慢的腐朽，但它的灵魂尚存。它在等待着，等待着另一个重生的机会。

我们新锐铭木，疯狂的木行者，漫游大地，四处寻找这棵尊贵的古树。有如修行般，追寻天人合一。我们希望能将这棵树重见天日，发挥它美和纯朴的本性。

物尽其用，人尽其才。我们的工匠，利用他们的灵感和精巧的工艺，把这棵树的潜质充分的发挥出来，使它成为简朴和典雅的化身。如今，我们领悟到一棵树的奇妙，使我们体会到人与自然的和谐，达到心灵的宁静。
